Equipment Memo

S7 Equipment Memo

All OVSS players are to treat their equipment provided by the hockey club with care and respect.

Game & Practice Jerseys - Game jerseys are NOT permitted for use during practice time.
Please respect the Game jersey and take care of it throughout the season.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
  • Jerseys are to be washed inside out in COLD water on a regular basis
  • Air dry only - use a plastic hanger

C's and A's / Namebars - are provided by the Club and the only ones to be used. Be sure to use a "SINGLE STICH". Do NOT use any form of adhesive or “iron” them.  When removing them at the end of the season, please exercise caution not to tear or stretch the jersey.

Socks - Proper S7 socks should be worn at all games. The socks should be a matching pair and should coordinate with the game being played. (i.e.; away socks, home socks).

Helmets – Black Helmets Only.

Gloves – Must be predominantly black, no other colors permitted.

Pants – S7 Pant Shells to be worn, you are responsible to buy them and you own them. They are to fit properly and be of good repair. Please order from Pro2Col Sports Wear.

Skates – must be predominantly black

Skate Laces - Hockey skate laces should NOT have bright colors (no pink, bright yellow, green etc.) The colors should be either black or white. Close variations are acceptable.

Stick Tape - Stick tape must be white or black.

The rationale for the uniform and equipment protocol is that we believe that hockey is a TEAM SPORT and not an individual sport; therefore we need to appear as similar as a possible as a team while representing the Ottawa Valley Silver Seven Hockey Club.

Questions can be directed to the OVSS Equipment Manager under Contacts.

Thank you,
OVSS Executive
