OVSS Important Dates for the 2023-2024 Season

Tryout/Pathway Dates:    ** Tryout schedule is NOW posted.  Pleach check back regularly as chnages DO happen!**

Tryout Jersey Pick Up & Meet the Coach: Saturday, August 26th at Beckwith Arena, Field House
U9 - U12: 9:00am - 10:00am
U13 - U18: 10:45am - 11:45am

Tryouts U12, U13, U14, U15 & U16 will run from  August 27th to Sept., 1st, 2023.
Pathways - U9, U10 & U11 will be held on Sept., 2nd - 3rd, 2023  There are three (3) tryout sessions associated with pathways.
Tryouts - U9, U10 & U11 will start on Sept. 5th, 2023.
U18 will start on Sept., 23rd, 2023

Prior to registering for tryouts through OVSS, players must first register with their home association and pay a $25 administrative fee.  Proof of registration will be required during this process.  Once this has been completed, please use   this form   to request access to the registration portal.
NOTE - OVSS will be offering a mandatory hitting clinic on August 26th for all U14 players which must be registered for separately.

League Game Dates:
U9, U10 & U11 - League games start Friday, October 13th, 2023 and ends on Sunday, February 4th, 2024.  (U10//U11), U9 runs to Friday, March 22nd, 2024.
U12 to U15 - League games start Saturday, September 30th, 2023 and ends on Sunday, February 4th, 2024. 
U16 & U18 - League games start Friday, October 13th, 2023 and ends on Sunday, February 4th, 2024.  

Home Tournament (U10, 12, 14 & 16): 17th Annual Capital Fall Classic October 20-22, 2023.**
Home Tournament (U9, 11, 13, 15 & 18): 17th Annual Capital Fall Classic November 3-5, 2023.**

OVSS Day – Saturday, November 18, 2023 NEW LOCATION!!  Pakenham Arena. 

OVSS Banquet – March 23, 2024 at Irish Hills.  Parents Tickets will be $80/parent (one parent per family to attend with their player).  Admission to the banquet for the players is paid for by OVSS.

Christmas Break – Friday, December 23rd - Monday, January 2nd, 2024.
