OVSS Minor Peewee A White Takes Home the Gold

Champs in Rochester, Boys bring home "Gold".

On a recent trip to Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY, the Ottawa
Valley Silver Seven Minor Peewee A White team learned that in addition
to great hockey skills, it also takes hard work, commitment, being a
good person and paying close attention to their parents and coaches to
have success at a high level like the NCAA. The boys took those
lessons to heart last weekend when they crossed the border home with
the Gold Medal from the Rochester Thanksgiving Classic. The boys
played solid two way hockey in soundly defeating teams from Hamilton
(3-0), Brantford (5-0) and Amherst, NY (8-5) before defeating the
Brantford 99ers again in the finals by a score of 4-1.  Congrats to
the boys on their great success and on representing our region and
country so well. We showed them how we play in the Valley boys, 60
minutes, no regrets!!!  What's the score boys???
