Welcome to the 2012-2013 Season!

I hope that everyone had a great summer and is looking forward to a new season of great hockey.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all 2001 birth year participants trying out for the Minor Peewee A teams this season. Thank you for your interest in representing the Ottawa Valley Silver Seven

Tryouts are scheduled to start on August 26 at the Cavanagh Sensplex in Kinburn.

Commitment Level

• Players will be expected to attend all team activities
• You can expect an average of 4 team sessions per week, this may vary week by week
• Players will be expected to arrive 45 minutes prior to games and practices and at least 1 hour prior to tournament games.
• There will be off ice conditioning scheduled twice monthly at a location to be determined.

1. Silver Seven Capital Fall Classic Oct 26th- 28th 2012
2. Rochester Nov 23rd-25th 2012
3. Sudbury Silver Stick Dec 7th – 9th 2012
4. Bell Capital Cup Dec 28th -  Jan 1st 2013
5. Kanata Capital Winter Classic Jan 25th- Jan 27th 2013

Finance

The team will be asking for a fee of $475.  This team fee will be used for tournament fees, team building activities, administrative expenses, purchase of ice, water bottles etc.

To supplement the team fee, there will be some level of fundraising required.  Hopefully we can secure sponsorship to help offset some of our costs.
