U9 Black - RBC CHEO Run for the Kids

On October 6th, the U9 Black team participated in the RBC CHEO Run for the Kids, and it was a huge success! The team set a goal of raising $1,000 for CHEO, but thanks to the incredible generosity of our players, families, and friends, we were able to raise $3,311 for this wonderful cause! 

With multiple families on the team having relied on CHEO’s care in the past and many parents who are health professionals, it was a special day to show our support. The players had a fantastic time running the 2km race and embraced the team spirit and camaraderie that will no doubt carry over as they begin their season on the ice.

It was truly a meaningful way to come together as a team and contribute to a cause close to our hearts. We were proud to represent OVSS and of what the kids accomplished as a team. Can’t wait to build on this momentum!
