Hi, my name is Travis Droeske and I’m extremely excited to take on the role as the U12AA Head Coach for the upcoming 2024/25 season. I look forward to working with this group of kids, helping each player develop individually, as a teammate and a person both on and off the ice, reach goals and enjoy each trip to the rink.
I encourage all players born in 2013 to come try out, this will be a competitive try out, everyone will be given an equal opportunity to make this team and be assessed by independent evaluators.
Our goal for the season is to develop all players on the ice but also transfer that off the ice. We will be focusing on skill development and team play. We will set individual and team goals for both the players and coaching staff. We will challenge this group every ice time, we will coach them on the importance of team play, effort, attitude, sportsmanship and the game of hockey.
We expect both players and parents to commit on 4 to 5 sessions a week, this will include off ice training, practices, games, tournaments and team building exercises. We require all players to have this hockey team be their number one priority, all scheduled events will be mandatory attendance.

South Simcoe Storm Classic, Oct 4-6 in Bradford Ont.
OVSS Capital Fall Classic Oct 25-27 Ottawa Ont.
Sudbury Silver Stick Nov 29-Dec1 Sudbury Ont.
Rochester Cup Challenge Jan 31- Feb 2 Rochester N.Y
I look forward to seeing everyone at the rink and getting this season underway. We’re excited on building a very competitive team to represent S7 for this coming season. I promise to bring a positive behavior every session and coach this team to the best of my ability, I will do my best to make sure I see each kid smiling when they get to the rink and that their excited to come back.
