What a great weekend for the OVSS Hockey and the U14AA hockey team. After going 2-0-1 to secure 1st place in their division, they won a hard-fought 2-1 quarter-final game on Saturday night, and then battled back from a 3-1 third-period deficit Sunday morning all the way to a shootout ... After going 2-0-1 to secure 1st place in their division, they won a hard-fought 2-1 quarter-final game on Saturday night, and then battled back from a 3-1 third-period deficit Sunday morning all the way to a shootout that took 5 rounds to settle.
A full team effort against a strong EO Cobras team on Sunday afternoon earned them a 4-1 victory and a gold medal.
